Hello, I’m Kira Lynn. I make pictures, words, and songs.

I studied art at San Francisco Art Institute with Tony Labat, Anna Novakov, and Bill Berkson, and later children’s book writing and illustrating with Victoria Jamieson at Pacific Northwest College of Art. I teach drawing and visual storymaking at VIBE of Portland (where I served as the Director of Visual Arts Curriculum), the Brentwood Art Center in Los Angeles, and Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, and work at the art and children’s publishing house Pomegranate in Portland, Oregon.
