Kira Lynn Cain teaches through structured creative play,
training students to allow rigor and ambiguity to coexist.

Her method rests on two counterbalanced practices:

pretending; deliberate absurdity
truth-telling; saying something unsaid

Together, these two acts build something new.

Teaching Artist experience includes Art Center College of Design's ACX, Brentwood Art Center [Beverly Hills California], and VIBE of Portland, where she has served as Director of Visual Arts Curriculum and as a teaching artist.
She holds a Teaching Artist Certification from The Music Center [LA Philharmonic parent company].
